Outstanding Achievement

  • Accepted to Singapore Institute of Management (SIM) - with the SIM GE Merit Scholarship (50% value)
  • Accepted to Academy of Journalism and Communication (AJC)

In the recent university application season, Le Nguyen Phuong Linh (12A1, academic year 2024 - 2025, High-Quality Program) was admitted to two major universities: the Singapore Institute of Management (SIM) and the Academy of Journalism and Communication (AJC). She chose to study at the Singapore Institute of Management, hoping that the environment there would help her develop management competencies and the self-confidence of a future leader.

SIM is one of the top three highest-rated private universities in Singapore, trusted by many Vietnamese international students. Phuong Linh plans to pursue Marketing – a field of study that she believes will help her turn ideas into action, collaborate with others, and create stories that connect people to a common purpose. This is also what she discovered and concluded from her own experience participating in school activities.

Having transferred to Greenfield Ecopark Campus in the 9th grade, Phuong Linh wanted to find an open environment where she could be herself, engage, be challenged, and be guided. She is a highly active figure in community service and student leadership activities. In her roles as Head of the Communication Committee for the Greenfield Baking Club and a member of the Greenfield Debate Society, she contributed creative content ideas and never hesitated to work behind the scenes to drive things forward.

One of Phuong Linh's most memorable experiences was when she stood before her peers to deliver a speech in the Greenfield Talks competition. From brainstorming ideas and preparing her speech to the moment she faced hundreds of eyes, Phuong Linh was both nervous and excited. But that experience allowed her to become bolder, dare to speak her mind in front of a crowd, and, most importantly, clearly and persuasively convey her message.

Phuong Linh's university application profile, therefore, not only featured excellent academic achievements, including her GPA and IELTS score, but also scored points for the creative mindset, communication skills, and sense of responsibility that she diligently cultivated throughout her high school years. For her, participating in activities was not just to boost her profile; it was a way for her to express herself, train her skills, and discover the passion she is ready to pursue.

This October, Phuong Linh will take off for Singapore to pursue her dream at SIM with the SIM GE Merit Scholarship, valued at 50% for the Diploma program. Congratulations to Phuong Linh on her brilliant application results, and we wish her continued steady progress on her journey to conquer her major goals!
