Bus service
The bus service picks up and drops off students from the inner city of Hanoi and surrounding areas, helping parents to be completely yên tâm (yên tâm - reassured, secure) and save time in picking up and dropping off their children to school. Through the Greenfield School application, parents can easily track and manage the journey to and from school of the students.
Parents who want to use the bus service for students will fill out the Bus Registration form from the Admissions and Customer Care Department and pay the full fee to be assigned a pick-up route. The types of vehicles the School uses to pick up and drop off students can be 16-seater, 29-seater or 45-seater buses depending on the number of students registered and the traffic conditions of the route, but always ensure quality in transportation activities such as a team of professional and experienced drivers, vehicles with full seat belts, air conditioning...
Depending on actual needs, parents can choose a pick-up and drop-off service in the form of "At the point" or "As agreed". The school will arrange bus routes at the beginning of each school year and may adjust them during the school year. Detailed information about pick-up and drop-off times, bus numbers and bus supervisors will be sent to parents 1 week before the start of school.
When you want to stop the service or change the pick-up/drop-off location, parents register according to the form "Stop/Change Pick-up/Drop-off Location" with the Admissions and Customer Care Department before the 25th of each month. After receiving and processing, the Bus Service Department will contact parents to notify and confirm.
Bus service operation process
- Due to traffic reasons, the bus may arrive earlier/later than the schedule. Students need to be present at the pick-up point 5 minutes in advance to ensure the schedule of the route and not affect students at the next pick-up point. The bus will not wait for students for more than 2 minutes.
- In the afternoon, students leave from 4:00 PM and gather at the bus under the guidance of the bus supervisor. The bus will start moving at 4:10 PM.
- The bus supervisor will take attendance when students get on/off the bus. Detailed information about students' bus pick-up/drop-off times will be sent immediately to parents via the Greenfield School application.
- In case students are absent, leave early, arrive late unexpectedly or unexpectedly switch to personal transport, unexpectedly change pick-up/drop-off locations, parents need to notify the bus supervisor before the pick-up/drop-off time at least 15 minutes to avoid affecting other students traveling on the same route.
- Parents do not arbitrarily ask the driver or bus supervisor to let students get off the bus at a location other than the registered location.
- The bus supervisor has the right to refuse to allow strangers, who are not parents or not guardians registered with the School, to pick up students at the drop-off point without prior notice.
In case the student is not present at the pick-up/drop-off point on time, the bus supervisor will notify the student's parents. After 2 minutes, the bus goes to the next point. Parents will arrange their own means of transport or contact the bus supervisor to pick up/drop off the student at the next point.
If the bus drops off all students at the last point but parents have not yet arrived to pick them up, the bus supervisor will hire a taxi to take the student back to school, and notify parents to come to school to pick them up. Parents are responsible for paying the incurred transportation costs.
- Students are required to wear seat belts throughout the journey as required by law and for their own safety.
- Students are not allowed to play around, cause disorder on the bus; always have a polite and respectful attitude towards everyone on the bus.
- Students are not allowed to eat or drink on the bus (except for plain water); do not throw paper, trash or litter on the bus.
- Students comply with the arrangement of seats as directed by the bus supervisor and sit in a fixed position throughout the journey until they arrive at the drop-off location.
- Students are not allowed to arbitrarily adjust the equipment on the bus. If adjustments are needed, students ask the bus supervisor for assistance. If students arbitrarily adjust and damage the equipment, they will have to compensate the bus company.
- If you leave something on the bus, students must immediately notify the bus supervisor or the homeroom teacher.
- In case students do not comply with the above regulations, the School will remind and have the right to stop providing bus services.
