Nguyen Hoang Nhat makes an impression at Asia's largest business simulation competition

Outstanding Achievement

Before registering for the International Final, Nguyen Hoang Nhat (Class 8G3, Global Citizen Bilingual Program, Greenfield School Ecopark Campus) and his teammates excellently surpassed the ABS Qualifying Round in Hanoi in December with a Second Prize. This impressive achievement served as a passport helping them advance straight into the Final round.

In the final stretch, contestants take on the roles of managers to run a company, research the market, and make financial decisions and business strategies in a competitive environment with four "breathless" challenges: Strategic Decision Making (Business), Auction, Pitch Deck, and Operation.

Contestants must undergo four "breathless" challenges: Strategic Decision Making (Business), Auction, Pitch Deck, and Operation.

The motivation that brought Hoang Nhat to this high-caliber arena was his intense passion for the field of Business. Hoang Nhat shared: "It was the curiosity about how cash flow operates and the desire to break my own limits that urged me to confidently register and test myself in a completely new role."

In the competition, Hoang Nhat and another teammate assumed the role of COO (Chief Operating Officer) in the Operation round: calculating details from production methods and human resource management to supply planning to ensure the company made a profit within three months. After four rounds of competition, Nhat's team officially won the Third Prize overall.

In the end, Hoang Nhat’s team won the Third Prize.

Throughout the journey at the ABS Final, the language proficiency and sharp reasoning mindset of a Global Citizen Bilingual student helped Hoang Nhat communicate confidently, present his perspectives, and convincingly demonstrate his mettle before rival teams and the International Board of Judges.

This achievement is the sweet fruit of personal effort, family support, and the enthusiastic companionship of Greenfield School teachers. Beyond the award, this journey helped Nhat absorb new management mindsets and practice skills in teamwork, decision-making, negotiation, debating, cooperation, and learning from the strongest competitors on the continent.

The journey to conquer the competition has brought Hoang Nhat incredibly valuable experiences.

Sharing about his passion, Hoang Nhat excitedly said: “I don’t think anyone could be bored with Business or Finance once they understand their essence. If you like it but are still hesitant, my advice is: Just try it! Besides, I am also looking forward to experiencing the Business subject at the High School level of the Global Citizen Bilingual Program in the near future.”

Congratulations to Hoang Nhat on this commendable achievement! The school believes that your "dare to think, dare to do" spirit will be a solid launchpad for you to continue reaching further and conquering new heights of knowledge in the future.
