Announcement: On the regulations for receiving gifts by Greenfield School Staff

Dear Parents,

With the goal of building a transparent and upright educational environment, where the noble values of the Teacher are honored and the progress and success of the Students are the most meaningful gift, in recent years, Greenfield School has built and implemented a "no envelopes and gifts" culture in schools.

Greenfield School understands that Vietnam has a beautiful culture in expressing respect and gratitude. The school is extremely grateful for the feelings and encouragement of Parents for the School's Staff. The school believes that those priceless and meaningful gifts will be a great motivation for Teachers to firmly step on the path of education.

Greenfield School's mission is to build a happy school. In this place, good energy is spread from Parents, from Teachers to each child. And for that happiness to be preserved forever, there needs to be a consensus in the view of gratitude. The school appreciates gratitude with spiritual gifts, coming from the heart, companionship and sharing. Thanks to that, the humanistic value of the noble profession will forever exist and a generation of good students with personality will be formed.

The school would like to provide Parents with information about the regulations for receiving gifts by Greenfield School Staff, in order to contribute to building an ideal school environment, where the true educational values of the Teacher for the Student are honored:

Staff are absolutely not allowed to receive gifts from Students and Parents in the form of money or money equivalent (envelopes, vouchers, transfers...) of any value.
For souvenirs, greeting cards, handmade products made by Students themselves and given by individual Students: Staff are not allowed to receive gifts worth 200,000 VND or more.
For souvenirs, greeting cards, handmade products made by Students themselves and given by a group of Students: Staff are not allowed to receive gifts worth 500,000 VND or more.
For souvenirs given by the Parents' Association: Staff are not allowed to receive gifts from the Students' Parents Association in any form.
For gifts that are flower baskets/bouquets given by Students and the Students' Parents Association: Staff are allowed to receive flowers/flower baskets on holidays, or anniversaries for the purpose of gratitude and honoring the efforts and contributions of Teachers/Staff.

Once again, Greenfield School would like to express its sincere thanks to Parents for placing their trust and accompanying all educational activities at the school during the past time.
