Let's Debate! 2024 – 2025

After four successful seasons, "Let's Debate!" — the Vietnamese debate competition — is set to return this March and April, offering students an exciting opportunity to showcase their debating prowess on various societal issues.

The competition is divided into four categories: Category A - Grade 6 (11 teams), Category B - Grade 7 (13 teams), Category C - Grades 8 & 9 (18 teams), and Category D - Grades 10, 11, & 12 (24 teams). It features four intense rounds:

• Preliminary Round (February 21): Students register their teams with their homeroom teacher. For classes with numerous interested students, the teacher will organize an internal preliminary round during the Literature class. Following this, the homeroom teacher/subject teacher will select the representative team(s) for the class and submit the list to the Organizing Committee.
• Elimination Round (March 19 & 21): Teams compete in direct elimination matches to determine which teams advance to the semi-finals and finals.
• Semi-finals & Finals (April 4): Direct elimination matches will be held to determine the winning team in each category.

With the aim of fostering a free academic environment, encouraging, and motivating students to confidently present their personal viewpoints, develop creative thinking skills, and apply their learned knowledge to analyze real-world societal issues, the "Let's Debate!" competition promises to be a beneficial and engaging platform for students.
