Follow Greenfield School's "archers" to explore the allure of archery
11/10/2024
Sharp gazes, gleaming bows and arrows, and a sunlit outdoor range with colorful targets—these are familiar sights in Greenfield School’s archery classes. Introduced into the Physical Education curriculum in the 2021–2022 school year, archery has become a beloved sport that strengthens both mind and body for many students.
In archery class, students learn fundamental techniques such as shooting stance, bow grip, drawing, and aiming before putting their skills into practice like true archers. Throughout the training process, the teacher closely supervises each student to ensure safety and correct their posture and technique as needed.

️Unlike competitive sports such as soccer, badminton, or basketball, archery is highly individualistic, requiring patience, perseverance, and personal goal-setting. Whether it's the joy of hitting the bullseye or the slight disappointment of a missed shot, students demonstrate remarkable focus and determination with every arrow released.

More than just a class, archery offers students the opportunity to develop holistically—not only improving their physical fitness but also enhancing their concentration, observational skills, and patience. We hope students continue to enjoy their archery lessons and grow even more passionate about this rewarding sport.
