Grade 11 students experience "Recruitment Day"

15/10/2024

Dressed in formal suits, carefully preparing high-quality job application documents, and confidently answering interview questions from recruiters—these were the experiences of Grade 11 students during the interdisciplinary project "Recruitment Day" in Life Skills, Economics & Law Education.

In this project, students were divided into three groups, each representing a company. Each company consisted of three departments: the Executive Board, the Human Resources Department, and the group of Job Applicants. Beyond being assigned specific roles, team members also supported one another to ensure the best possible outcome for their project.

Applying their knowledge from Economics & Law Education, members of the Executive Board conducted market research and proposed business ideas in fields such as education, environment, food, and hygiene products. From there, these "young entrepreneurs" created company registration documents and identified both opportunities and challenges in running their businesses.

The Human Resources Department was responsible for planning recruitment for key positions such as Marketing Specialist, Designer, and Sales Representative. Meanwhile, applying their Life Skills knowledge, the Job Applicants group demonstrated their ability to design resumes, write application emails, and respond flexibly to recruiters’ questions.

Job Applicants impress recruiters with their adaptability during interviews

"Recruitment Day" provided students with a hands-on experience, allowing them to familiarize themselves with the job market, understand the process of establishing a company, and develop essential skills to make a strong impression on recruiters. The school believes that through this interdisciplinary project, students have gained valuable knowledge and skills to confidently prepare for the future.
