Grade 9 field trip: Traveling far to grow closer
01/11/2024
The journey to new destinations during excursions allows Greenfield School students to see and experience real-life knowledge firsthand. More importantly, it is an opportunity for them to recharge their energy and strengthen their bonds with friends and teachers.
On October 31 and November 1, Grade 9 students embarked on a two-day, one-night excursion to the ancient capital of Ninh Bình. Departing at 8 AM, their first stops were the temples of King Dinh and King Le, Nhat Tru Pagoda, and the remnants of ancient architecture. Here, they had the chance to witness firsthand the historical relics that bear testimony to a glorious era of the nation.

After engaging in team-building games that strengthened their group spirit at Thung Nham, the students took part in a boat excursion to explore Thung Chim, home to over 4,000 preserved bird species. As the paddles rippled through the water, they were in awe of the breathtaking natural scenery and the sight of thousands of birds soaring across the sky. Additionally, they had the chance to explore other notable sites within Thung Nham, such as Tiên Cá Cave, the orchard area, and the ancient thousand-year-old Streblus asper tree.

Igniting the stage at the Gala Night, the students shined with their creative costume performances and artistic showcases that truly captured the spirit of each class. Most memorably, the moments gathered around the campfire, singing and dancing to lively tunes, brought them even closer together and created unforgettable memories.

Wrapping up a meaningful excursion, the students returned with invaluable experiences and unforgettable memories. Beyond gaining new insights into history and nature, the journey also helped them grow as they faced challenges together. Hopefully, these experiences will inspire them with confidence and resilience as they continue their journey ahead.
