25/10/2024
Yesterday afternoon (October 24), students from Grades 10 to 12 had the opportunity to learn about more than 60 prestigious universities and organizations from 20 countries at the BMI International Education Fair. This event was co-hosted by Times Higher Education, publisher of The World University Rankings and the Center for International Education Consultancy (CIEC), under the Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training’s Department of International Cooperation.
At the fair, students met directly with university representatives and experts from the UK, Australia, the US, Canada, Ireland, France, Belgium, Germany, Hong Kong, Thailand, and more. Through one-on-one consultations, students received guidance on study pathways, emerging fields of study, scholarship programs, admissions policies, international student support, and career opportunities, helping them to choose the right academic program, destination country, and study path.
Additionally, students gained valuable insights on financial planning for studying abroad, scholarship requirements, and strategies in sessions such as "HSBC - A Trusted Financial Partner for Studying Abroad" and "Real Stories from International Students". Listening to guest speakers, including experts and scholarship-winning students, they gained practical advice and essential tips for successfully applying to their dream schools.
Participating in this event, Bao Ha (11C1) shared, “The event not only gave me a chance to explore international universities but also to meet with representatives from two schools I’m especially interested in—TETR College of Business and Tio Business School. The staff provided details on key programs, tuition fees, and learning opportunities, which gave me a wealth of useful information for my future journey.”
By the end of the fair, students had “pocketed” plenty of valuable information to shape their educational plans and prepare for the future. The school believes this event has been a key touchpoint for sparking motivation and guiding students on their path to achieving their university dreams.
