Honoring Greenfield School Students for Outstanding Achievements in the Cambridge International AS & A Level Examinations

The Cambridge International A Level program is the highest level of the Cambridge International Curriculum, developed by Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) – a member of the University of Cambridge. Building on the success of the Cambridge Primary and Cambridge Lower Secondary programs, Greenfield School officially introduced the Cambridge A Level program in the 2021–2022 academic year for students starting from Grade 9. This four-year program offers three subjects: Mathematics, Business, and Information Technology.

Through three exam sessions (June 2023, November 2023, and June 2024), Greenfield School takes pride in its students who have consistently achieved top scores of a/A* (the highest grade scale) in the Cambridge AS & A Level Examinations. Many of them have been awarded prestigious accolades by Cambridge Assessment International Education, including:

• Top in the World – awarded to students achieving the highest score globally in a subject.
• Top in the Country – awarded to students with the highest score in a subject at the national level.
• High Achievement – awarded to students with outstanding results in their subjects.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Melvyn Lim shared: "The results achieved by Greenfield School students in the Cambridge AS & A Level Examinations are a testament to their hard work, determination, and thirst for knowledge. These achievements reflect not only the dedication of the School Leadership Team in providing an enriching learning environment but also the commitment of teachers who guide and support students every step of the way, as well as the invaluable encouragement from parents throughout their academic journey.”

Achieving the highest score in the world (Top in the World) for Information Technology in the Cambridge A Level Examination, Hoang Minh Khanh (Grade 12C1) shared: "During my first days in the Cambridge program, I felt somewhat 'overwhelmed' by the immense amount of knowledge and the different learning approach. However, I never felt alone, thanks to the unwavering support, guidance, and encouragement from my teachers." Minh Khanh also sent a heartfelt message to younger students, reminding them to stay patient and believe in themselves: "The journey of learning is never easy, but every effort you put in will be absolutely worth it."

According to the Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) database, the AS/A Level qualification (with grades a–c/A–C) is widely recognized by universities around the world. Notably, it is accepted by:

• Over 1,000 universities in the U.S., including Ivy League schools
• All universities in the UK
• 59 universities in Australia
• 15 universities in New Zealand
• 65 universities in Canada
• Most universities across Europe
• 22 universities in Vietnam

With this recognition, obtaining an A Level qualification serves as a "golden ticket", significantly increasing students' chances of securing admission and excelling at top universities both in Vietnam and worldwide.
