More than 800 Grade 9 - 12 students participated in the University & Career Fair 2024

As the largest career orientation event of the year at Greenfield School, the fair attracted nearly 30 leading universities, centers, and enterprises, along with a series of high-quality academic and career orientation workshops.

Right after the opening ceremony, the atmosphere in Hall H heated up with the presence of guest speaker Mr. Nguyen Quang Tung (Akwaaba Tung) – the youngest speaker at BUV Ted Talk 2020 & 2023 and co-founder of the educational project MỞ - Mơ và Hỏi, which has provided online courses on Learning and Thinking for over 1,000 Vietnamese students worldwide since 2020.

Mr. Nguyen Quang Tung captivated Greenfield students with his inspiring journey in education. Alongside sharing his path into the field, he imparted three key lessons: (1) What you love doing doesn’t necessarily have to become your career, (2) When one door closes, two good things happen—you realize you’re not suited for field A and it’s time to explore B, C, or D, and (3) Every great journey begins with small steps.

His insightful talk motivated students on their journey toward university and global exploration. The students actively engaged, demonstrating their eagerness to learn by asking thought-provoking questions during the Q&A session.

Following the guest speaker session, students from Grades 9 to 12 participated in two valuable activities:

At the schoolyard, nearly 30 booths from top universities, educational centers, and businesses—including National Economics University, Fulbright University Vietnam, British University Vietnam, VinUni, RMIT, AIESEC, and Vietnam France Exchange—offered direct 1:1 consultations. These sessions provided insights into academic programs, career prospects, study paths, and attractive scholarship opportunities.

Parallel to the booths, 16 Career & Academic Workshops took place in House F. Here, students engaged with CEOs and leading experts in finance, medicine, IT, psychology, and research. The workshops covered essential topics such as Personal Branding through Extracurricular Activities, Crafting Scholarship-Winning Applications, Choosing Careers in the Digital Age, and Nursing – The Future Profession.

Reflecting on the event, Le Hai Minh (12A1) shared: “This is my third time attending University & Career Fair, and each year brings new opportunities and insights. I made the most of my time exploring different academic pathways and study-abroad options. Thanks to the expert guidance, I now have a clearer vision of my future career and education.”

With the theme “Connections to Your Future,” University & Career Fair 2024 successfully bridged Greenfield students with universities and career paths, empowering them to make informed decisions about their future.
