Vietnamese Teachers' Day Celebration 20/11: A day to remember, a day to give thanks

20/11/2024

Teaching is a profession like any other. Yet, unlike many others, it holds simple, heartfelt, and deeply fulfilling joys. And this morning, under the beautiful November sunshine, more than 300 staff members of Greenfield School experienced a day filled with happiness and gratitude.

This year’s Vietnamese Teachers' Day celebration welcomed over 3,000 students, parents, and even alumni—who, despite having graduated years ago, still hold deep affection for their teachers and returned to express their gratitude. Love and appreciation filled the air: parents personally handed over beautiful bouquets, while students and alumni crafted heartfelt cards with sincere messages for their beloved teachers.

It was impossible to miss the beaming smiles of teachers and students throughout the celebration.

The event was further brightened by vibrant performances and an exhibition of colorful artworks. Songs, dances, handmade crafts, photo albums, portraits, handwritten letters, and poetry—every piece was a labor of love, carefully prepared by students weeks in advance to honor their teachers.

As the saying goes, "It takes a village to raise a child." Every teacher at Greenfield School may have arrived here through different paths and served for varying lengths of time, yet they all share the same mission—to guide, support, and nurture every child to grow up happily and become the best version of themselves. Teaching is a demanding yet profoundly rewarding journey, one that shapes lives in the most meaningful way.

With all our hearts, Greenfield School deeply appreciates and honors the dedication of our teachers. On this special occasion, we extend our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes. May you always stay strong, resilient, and fulfilled in your educational journey—not just on November 20th, but every single day of the year!
