What's make golf classes at Greenfield School exciting?

24/10/2024

Golf is more than just holding a club and hitting the ball into the hole; it’s a sport that combines focus, precision, patience, and strategic calculation to guide the ball from the Tee Box (starting point) to the Green (end goal) with as few strokes as possible.

Each week, Greenfield School's students enjoy engaging golf classes at the school's Multi-purpose Golf Course. Introduced in the 2021-2022 school year with the internationally recognized SNAG (Starting New At Golf) program, golf has become one of the most popular sports, drawing great interest from students across grades.

Golf is a sport that attracts great interest from many students

Guided by experienced instructors, students learn the basic rules of golf and develop essential techniques such as different grips, stance, club swing, putting, and aiming for precise shots. Many students have impressed by landing the ball in the hole with a single stroke, thanks to their skillful yet gentle swings.

“I think golf is quite challenging because it requires a lot of focus and correct technique to get the ball into the hole. However, with my teacher’s enthusiastic support, I’ve gradually improved my skills and stance. This has made me feel more confident and excited about the sport,” shares Nhu Lam (5G2).
