Wilderness survival experience with Grade 6 students

29/10/2024

Today, Grade 6 students embarked on their first field trip of the school year at Pandora Experiential Education Park (Dong Anh, Hanoi). This was a wonderful opportunity for them to have fun, relax, connect with nature, strengthen friendships, and equip themselves with valuable life skills.

A day at Pandora Ecological Park was filled with exciting activities such as setting up tents, making fire, cooking rice in clay pots, purifying water for survival, and crafting the legendary Lien Chau crossbow. Experiencing these activities for the first time, many students were surprised and excited to learn valuable survival skills.

The tent-building activity required the cooperation and joint efforts of many students.
For many students, this was their first time experiencing the activity of making a fire and cooking rice.
One of the survival skills that students were guided through during the trip was the water filtration technique.

Especially, the team-building activities with a series of exciting challenges helped students strengthen their teamwork and collaboration skills. Facing obstacles, they did not back down but put in their best efforts, striving towards the shared goal of victory for their team.

The school believes that after this trip, students have gained valuable experiences, learned many new things, and, most importantly, built meaningful friendships. These will accompany them on their journey of learning and growth at the Greenfield School family!
