Greenfield School's Global Leaders Scholarship Program 2022 - 2023 opens an opportunity for 9th-grade students across the country to discover their potential and raise voices on emerging global issues.
"Do I need to study intensively or be super excellent at school to become a leader? Only when I have a high GPA can I be an influential person?" These are common questions asked by students at school. But did you know that within each person there are hidden qualities to become a leader, the important thing is how we unlock those hidden abilities.
Greenfield School's Global Leaders Scholarship Program 2022 - 2023 opens an opportunity for 9th-grade students across the country to discover their potential and raise voices on emerging global issues. In this scholarship program, anyone can become a leader.
Candidates
9th-grade students at Greenfield School and all schools nationwide
Prerequisites:
- The average score of English in the first semester of grade 9 is 7.0 or higher.
- Good Conduct
Prioritize:
- Achieving provincial, national, and international awards
- Having an IELTS score of 6.0 or higher - Other Academic Certificates
Competition rounds
- Application round (February 6 - 9, 2023): Students write a 300-400 word essay on a given topic.
- Gameshow round (expected March 4, 2023): Students perform a series of individual and team challenges. Elimination to select the best individuals and groups for the next round.
- Final Round (expected April 1, 2023): Students are divided into 5 teams, corresponding to 5 countries/organizations on the negotiating table. Every week, students receive training with experts and have time to work together in groups. Teams will participate in the model United Nations Parliament (Model UN). In the end, students were interviewed personally, and selected the best 5 students to win scholarships.
Scholarship Value
- 01 Champion: 100% of the tuition fee for the first year of Global Citizen Bilingual Pathway
- 01 Runner-up: 70% of the tuition fee for the first year of Global Citizen Bilingual Pathway
- 03 Talent prizes: 30% of the tuition fee for the first year of Global Citizen Bilingual Pathway
Scholarship Regulations
- Scholarships apply to winning students after receiving official notification from Greenfield School
- The scholarship applies to students entering the Global Citizen Bilingual Pathway for the academic year 2023 – 2024 at Greenfield School.
- The scholarship is applicable for tuition fees only, is non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash. - This scholarship cannot be applied at the same time as other incentive programs (if any) during the student's study at the school.
- Only successful students will receive a notification. The school will not be responsible for publishing the details of the admission. The selection of students to award scholarships is at the discretion of the School.
- During the period of study at the school, all tuition fees and other fees must be paid on time. Penalties for late payment of tuition fees will be applied in accordance with regulations. In the case that tuition fees and late fees are not paid by the last specified date, the scholarship will automatically be invalid for that semester of the academic year.
- The scholarship may be terminated at any time if a student engages in behaviors that are inappropriate and adversely affect the school's pedagogical environment or other students.
