Global Leaders Scholarship 2022 - 2023: Opportunity to experience a bilingual learning environment

Do you have to study really well, really excellently at your school to have a chance to become a leader? Do you need a high GPA to become a person who "has a voice"? Do you know that within each person, there are hidden qualities to become a leader, the important thing is how we exploit those hidden abilities.

The Global Leaders Scholarship Program, in the 2022 - 2023 academic year of Greenfield School, opens up opportunities for 9th grade students nationwide to explore their potential and raise their voices on prominent global issues. In this scholarship program, anyone can become a leader.

Object

9th grade students at Greenfield School and all schools nationwide

Requirements:

• GPA in English in the first semester of 9th grade from 7.0 or higher.
• Good conduct

Priority:

• Have won provincial, national, and international awards
• Have an IELTS score of 6.0 or higher
• Other academic certificates

Rounds of the contest

• Dossier round (February 6 - 9, 2023): Students write a 300-400 word essay on a given topic.
• Gameshow round (expected March 4, 2023): Students perform a series of individual and team challenges. Eliminate to select outstanding individuals and groups to the next round.
• Final round (expected April 1, 2023): Students are divided into 5 teams, corresponding to 5 countries/organizations at the negotiating table. Every week, students are trained with experts and have time to work together in groups. The teams will participate in the Model UN format. At the end, students are interviewed individually and select the 5 most outstanding students to win scholarships.

Scholarship value

• 01 First prize: 100% tuition fee for the first year of the Global Citizen Bilingual System
• 01 Second prize: 70% tuition fee for the first year of the Global Citizen Bilingual System
• 03 Talent prizes: 30% tuition fee for the first year of the Global Citizen Bilingual System

Scholarship regulations

• The scholarship applies to winning students who receive official notification from Greenfield School.
• The scholarship applies to students enrolling in the Global Citizen system in the 2023 - 2024 school year at Greenfield School.
• The scholarship is only applicable to tuition fees, is not transferable and cannot be converted into cash.
• This scholarship is not applicable concurrently with other incentive programs (if any) during the student's study period at the school.
• During the study period at the school, all tuition fees and other fees must be paid on time. Late payment fees will apply according to regulations. In case the tuition fee and late payment fee are not paid on the last specified day, the scholarship will automatically terminate from that semester of the school year.
• The scholarship may be terminated at any time if the student has behaviors that the School evaluates as inappropriate and adversely affects the school's pedagogical environment or other students.
