Nguyen Minh Nguyet impressively claimed first prize at the 2025 Thanh Am music competition.
Outstanding Achievement
The Qingyin Award is an initiative co-launched by the International Arts Education Association, under the patronage of the Zhejiang Conservatory of Music (China) and the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Belgium). The competition gathers over 200 contestants competing in various categories: Piano, Electronic Organ, Vocal Performance, Wind Instruments, String Instruments, Modern Instruments, and Traditional Folk Instruments.
At the competition, Minh Nguyet confidently delivered a powerful rendition of “Into The Unknown” – one of the original songs from Disney’s 2019 animated musical film Frozen 2. The judges praised her performance, noting that despite her young age, she demonstrated a strong, emotional voice with impressive vocal control and technique.
The moment Minh Nguyet’s name was announced as the First Prize winner.
Minh Nguyet shared: “I joined the competition because I wanted to experience performing on a big stage, be evaluated by respected judges, and learn from other talented young musicians. The moment my name was called for First Prize, I felt truly happy and proud. It was a turning point for me and a great motivation on my artistic journey, giving me more determination to pursue my dream.”
Previously, Minh Nguyet had already won First Prize for two consecutive years at the Greenfield Music Festival and was a familiar face in many school performances, big and small. Through the platforms provided by the school, she gradually discovered her passion for music and began shaping her own unique performance style.
With the First Prize at the Qingyin Award 2025, in addition to receiving a trophy and certificate, Minh Nguyet has also earned a spot in the International Final Round, which will take place at the Zhejiang Conservatory of Music in Hangzhou, China in August 2025.
Congratulations to Minh Nguyet on this outstanding achievement! We wish her continued confidence and success as she shines on the international stage.
