An Explosive Atmosphere at the Football and Basketball Finals

Exciting score chases and determined performances created many unforgettable moments filled with energy and emotion.

BASKETBALL

In the Boys’ 5x5 Basketball Competition for Grades 8–9, Blue Dolphin and Green Elephant delivered an exciting final featuring a fast-paced game and continuous back-and-forth action. In the end, Blue Dolphin defeated Green Elephant 34–24 to claim the championship title. Meanwhile, Orange Tiger secured third place with a 25–14 victory over Purple Eagle.

In the Boys’ 3x3 Basketball Competition for Grades 8–9, Yellow Bear edged past Green Elephant 6–5 in a tense final to become champions. Purple Eagle also defeated Orange Tiger 6–5 in the third-place playoff.

In the Girls’ 3x3 Basketball Competition for Grades 8–9, Blue Dolphin showcased impressive form with a 5–0 victory over Yellow Bear in the final. Green Elephant secured third place after defeating Orange Tiger.

In the High School Boys’ 5x5 Basketball Competition, Purple Eagle maintained a solid performance throughout the match and defeated Blue Dolphin 32–22 to become champions. Yellow Bear claimed the Bronze Medal after overcoming Green Elephant in the third-place playoff.

FOOTBALL

In the Grade 6 Boys’ Football Competition, Blue Dolphin defeated Purple Eagle 1–0 to win the championship. Meanwhile, in the Grade 7 Boys’ Football Competition, Purple Eagle overcame Green Elephant 2–0 in the final to claim the title. Blue Dolphin secured third place with a narrow victory over Yellow Bear.

In the Girls’ Football Competition for Grades 6–7, Blue Dolphin delivered an impressive performance to defeat Yellow Bear 2–0 in the final. Orange Tiger beat Green Elephant 1–0 in the third-place playoff.

In the Girls’ Football Competition for Grades 8–9, the final between Purple Eagle and Yellow Bear was closely contested and had to be decided by a penalty shootout. Yellow Bear successfully converted two penalties to claim the championship title. Blue Dolphin earned third place after defeating Green Elephant in another penalty shootout.

At the High School level, the Girls’ Football Final between Orange Tiger and Blue Dolphin was filled with drama as the two teams finished 2–2 after regular time. Blue Dolphin ultimately triumphed 5–4 in the penalty shootout to secure the championship. Purple Eagle defeated Yellow Bear in the third-place playoff to finish in third position.

As this exciting series of matches came to a close, all participating teams demonstrated determination, sportsmanship, and competitive spirit, creating many memorable moments at the Greenfield Olympics.
