Greenfield University & Career Fair 2026 - a comprehensive university and career guidance event - provided high school students with the opportunity to explore diverse professional pathways through a dynamic series of orientation activities.
Kicking off the career guidance roadmap for the 2026–2027 academic year, high school students at GFS Ecopark Campus engaged directly with representatives from over 40 universities, educational institutions, and career advising organizations. The fair offered students a comprehensive, multi-dimensional, and practical perspective on the job market while connecting them with varied higher education options.
This year’s fair gathered over 40 universities, educational institutions, and career guidance organizations.A highlight of the event was a guest presentation by Mr. Eric Tho, an MBA graduate from National Taiwan University currently preparing for his Ph.D. at the University of Auckland, New Zealand. Known as a popular digital content creator and award winner in various English language and startup competitions, he also brings extensive marketing leadership experience from top corporations including Unilever, L’Oréal, and TikTok.
Guest speaker Eric Tho engaging with students during the event.Sharing his personal journey - from facing rejection from 20 companies during early job hunts and ten Ph.D. scholarship refusals to achieving professional success - Eric Tho attributed his path to the courage to take initiative: daring to explore diverse fields, stepping onto the global stage, studying abroad, competing, speaking English, and living independently. His core message to the students was simple yet profound: you don’t need to have the entire roadmap figured out - you just need the courage to take the first step.
Following the opening session, students participated in in-depth discussions with representatives from prominent institutions, including the Institute of Accounting and Auditing (National Economics University), joint-training programs at the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, Fulbright University Vietnam, RMIT University, VinUniversity, and British University Vietnam. These sessions provided tailored insights into specialized majors, admission criteria, scholarship opportunities, and application strategies.
