Exploring Top Australian universities with Greenfield School students

On the morning of November 2, students from Grades 10 to 12 had the opportunity to explore one of Australia's top universities at Open Day, an experiential event themed "Dare to Dream." This career-oriented event was organized by the Center for International Education Consultancy (CIEC), under the International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam, in collaboration with the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Australia.
UTS is currently ranked 9th in Australia and #88 globally (QS World University Rankings 2024), with several disciplines listed in the world's Top 100 (QS World University Subject Rankings 2024), including Nursing (#24), Data Science & Artificial Intelligence (#40), Computer Science & Information Systems (#73), and Accounting & Finance (#90).
At the event, students had the opportunity to hear from Mr. Tuan Bendixen, a UTS alumnus and current representative of Animals Asia Vietnam, who shared insights on his journey in pursuing his dreams and the importance of wildlife conservation in Vietnam. Reflecting on his years at UTS, he credited the university with helping him develop critical thinking, adaptability, and problem-solving skills, which ultimately empowered him to achieve his ambitions.
In addition to inspiring stories, the students gained comprehensive information about living environments, university rankings, outstanding programs, policies for international students, and employment opportunities in Australia, particularly at UTS. They also had the chance to engage in 1:1 consultations with UTS faculty on exclusive scholarships, potential study programs, academic pathways, and admission processes.
