Grade 11 Students Explore the Colors of World Cultures Through a Geography Project
25/03/2026
The festival “The Journey to Global Cultural Integration” served as the final project showcase for Grade 11 students in their Geography course during Semester II at Greenfield School.
After three successful seasons, the fourth edition of the festival brought students a vibrant multicultural experience, where classroom knowledge was connected to real-life learning through a variety of creative and meaningful activities.
Through the Project Based Learning (PBL) approach, 17 student groups from class 11C1 and three Grade 11 Social Sciences classes researched, explored, and recreated the distinctive natural, historical, social, and cultural features of seven countries representing different continents: South Korea, Egypt, India, Spain, Brazil, Italy, and Thailand.

During the festival, students had the opportunity to participate in a variety of highlights, including:
Traditional costume showcases and cultural performances, bringing national identities to life through traditional attire and captivating performances such as Spain’s passionate Flamenco dance, South Korea’s graceful fan dance, Thailand’s Loy Krathong Festival, and the mysterious atmosphere of ancient Egypt.
Project exhibitions, cultural models, and presentations, featuring products researched and created by the students themselves, including cultural models, replica artifacts, and exhibition spaces inspired by each country. Students also presented key aspects of each nation’s natural conditions, history, society, and culture.
Cultural exhibitions, traditional games, and cuisine showcases, creating a colorful and immersive experience with nearly 20 cultural models, unique traditional games, and signature dishes such as Tom Yum and mango sticky rice from Thailand, Pani Puri from India, Italian pasta, and Brazilian coffee.

More than simply a subject-based knowledge showcase, the festival also helped students develop research, presentation, teamwork, and creative-thinking skills. More importantly, through this learning journey connected to real-world experiences, students gained a deeper understanding of cultural diversity in an increasingly globalized world, while also strengthening their appreciation for national identity and the values of Vietnamese culture.
