Grade 1’s first field trip: Exploring the world beyond the classroom

Beyond classroom learning, field trips provide students with opportunities to explore the world around them, gain real-life knowledge, and develop essential life skills. For our young Grade 1 students, the first field trip of the school year holds special significance, marking their very first journey away from school with teachers and friends.
Today, our Grade 1 students had an exciting and enriching field trip to Pandora Experiential Education Park in Đông Anh, Hanoi. Stepping beyond the familiar classroom setting, they had the opportunity to broaden their horizons, embrace new knowledge, and fully enjoy engaging activities.
In the refreshing green space, the students eagerly took part in activities that built strength and agility, such as Sasuke, tug-of-war, and archery, while also learning basic self-defense skills. They also had the chance to "transform" into farmers and potters—watering plants, sowing seeds, feeding goats, and shaping clay. A highlight of the trip was roasting and savoring crispy rice crackers, along with crafting wooden dragonflies, both of which sparked great excitement and engagement among the students.
Continuing their exploration, the youngest members of Greenfield School had the chance to "unleash their energy" through exciting teambuilding challenges. From solving tricky riddles posed by the organizers to showcasing their dance moves to lively music and going all out in fun group games, these activities brought them joyful experiences, refreshing laughter, and a stronger bond with friends and teachers.
The trip ended with an abundance of positive energy and joy from the students. Returning with cherished memories, valuable lessons, and exciting new experiences, Greenfield School hopes this journey has inspired and motivated them to continue exploring the vast world ahead.
