Gratitude & Maturity Ceremony 2026: A Proud and Memorable Milestone for Grade 5 Students

The Gratitude & Maturity Ceremony was not grand or elaborate, but it was filled with warmth, sincerity, and heartfelt emotions.

The ceremony welcomed grandparents and parents—the loved ones who had held their children's hands since their very first School Opening Ceremony. Yet today, they attended with very different feelings.

Straightening their children's graduation gowns, taking commemorative photos together, and quietly watching them walk into the auditorium, parents found themselves realizing just how quickly their children had grown.

The students may not yet be able to fully express all the emotions their grandparents and parents were feeling, but through every smile, glance, and tight embrace, they conveyed their gratitude in the most sincere way. The songs, performances, and messages shared during the ceremony not only marked the conclusion of one chapter but also opened the door to a future filled with new hopes and dreams.

One of the most memorable moments for every Grade 5 student was receiving their Primary School Completion Certificate from the School Leadership Team. More than a recognition of their hard work and dedication throughout the years, it symbolized a journey of growth nurtured by the love, guidance, and support of both families and teachers.

Representing nearly 300 Grade 5 students, Le Quang Nhat from class 5C2 expressed his gratitude to parents and teachers: “Five years have passed so quickly and have been filled with wonderful memories. We feel that we have grown through many emotions—pride as we reached new milestones, sadness as we prepare to part from friends, and gratitude for always having our teachers and parents by our side. As we close the pages of our Primary School years, we will continue our journey ahead with determination, gratitude, and love.”

Not only the students but also many parents were deeply moved as they reflected on the years spent accompanying their children throughout Primary School. Ms. Doan Thi Le Phuong, parent of Banh Phuong Chi from class 5C1, shared: “After 11 years with Greenfield School through my two children—one currently in Grade 11 and one in Grade 5—the thing I remember most is not only the facilities or the beautiful green campus that first attracted us to the school, but also the dedication, kindness, patience, and care shown by the teachers and staff. Their close support has helped our children grow every day and has given us, as parents, a deep appreciation for this school community.”

Sharing her message with the students as they completed their Primary School journey, Ms. Dam Thi Nhu Hoa, homeroom teacher of class 5A1, said emotionally: “I wish you all the strength and confidence to move forward while keeping the innocence and purity of your school years alive in your hearts. Every effort you make today will become a valuable asset for your future. The road ahead will certainly bring challenges, but I believe that with determination, kindness, and the values you have developed under this school's care, you will always remain resilient and shine brightly.”

The students' five years of Primary School are coming to an end not only with notebooks filled with lessons, tests, grades, awards, certificates, and photographs, but also with friendships, teacher-student bonds, and beautiful childhood memories that have been created together throughout these years.

And perhaps, after this very special morning, the Greenfield School campus will remain just as familiar as ever... only now, the students have grown so much more.
