[Greenfield Olympics 2025–2026 | Stages II & III] Thrilling Matches and Unforgettable Sporting Moments

The spotlight of Greenfield Olympics last week was on Football, Basketball, Archery, Golf, and Badminton, where student-athletes showcased determination, resilience, and an inspiring competitive spirit, creating an electrifying sporting atmosphere across the campus.

BOYS’ FOOTBALL (GRADES 6–12)

The football field at Greenfield School witnessed a series of fast-paced, dramatic, and emotional matches. Players competed with remarkable determination, delivering impressive teamwork, intense challenges, and exciting moments that kept spectators engaged until the final whistle.

After the qualifying rounds, the teams advancing to the next stage were:

Grade 6: Purple Eagle
Grade 7: Green Elephant
Grade 8: Green Elephant
Grade 10: Blue Dolphin
Grade 11: Purple Eagle, Orange Tiger
Grade 12: Green Elephant, Orange Tiger

GIRLS’ FOOTBALL (GRADES 6–12)

The girls’ football competition was equally exciting, featuring determined performances, strong teamwork, and impressive endurance. Following a series of competitive matches, the teams advancing to the next round were:

Grades 6–7: Yellow Bear
High School Division: Blue Dolphin, Orange Tiger

BASKETBALL (GRADES 5–12)

At the multi-purpose gymnasium, basketball matches delivered plenty of excitement and unpredictable results.

In the 3x3 basketball events, Green Elephant and Blue Dolphin secured places in the next round. Meanwhile, in the Grades 6–7 Boys’ 5x5 Basketball competition, Blue Dolphin and Yellow Bear earned qualification.

The High School Boys’ 5x5 Basketball matches featured thrilling performances, with Purple Eagle and Blue Dolphin emerging victorious. Not to be outdone, the girls’ teams also delivered outstanding performances. Blue Dolphin and Orange Tiger (Grades 6–7), along with Green Elephant and Orange Tiger (High School Division), successfully advanced in the Girls’ 5x5 Basketball category.

The basketball courts were filled with excitement as teams battled through a series of highly competitive matches.

ARCHERY (GRADES 10–12)

The Archery Finals showcased intense competition and exceptional concentration from student archers competing in three categories: Boys’ Singles, Girls’ Singles, and Team Events.

At the end of the competition, the most outstanding archers were honored with well-deserved medals.

GOLF (GRADES 2–5)

Young golfers from Grades 2–5 confidently demonstrated their putting skills with patience, precision, and composure. Their performances reflected not only technical ability but also the discipline and concentration often seen in professional golfers.

After a series of exciting contests, talented golfers were recognized and awarded prestigious medals.

BADMINTON (GRADES 5, 8, AND 10)

Throughout the badminton matches, students impressed spectators with sharp serves, powerful smashes, and fast-paced rallies that kept the competition lively and engaging.

While striving for victory and medals, participants also demonstrated excellent sportsmanship and fair-play values, creating memorable moments both on and off the court.
