Greenfield School Students Shine at the 2026 MOS World Championship National Finals
17/06/2026
Outperforming nearly 1,500 candidates selected from high schools, colleges, and universities nationwide to secure their spots in the National Finals, two students from Greenfield School Ecopark Campus—Duong Bao Minh and Nguyen Duc Minh (Class 11A1)—continued their impressive streak. The duo outstandingly claimed one Second Prize and one Consolation Prize in the Microsoft Excel (Office 2019) category at the Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship (MOSWC 2026).
MOSWC is the world's largest competition focusing on office productivity skills for students aged 13 to 22. Annually, the event attracts millions of contestants from over 100 countries and territories competing to find the brightest IT talents in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (2019 and Microsoft 365 Apps versions). In Vietnam, MOSWC has reached its 17th consecutive season, continuing to expand its scale and foster a powerful impact within the student community.
The National Finals saw tough competition, featuring only the top 25 performers from the preliminary round. Contestants underwent a comprehensive 160-minute examination consisting of three sections: Creation, Theory, and Practical Scenario. This year, the competition continued to integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) components into the test to align with advanced technological trends, aiming to comprehensively develop digital literacy for learners.

"Our students winning awards at MOSWC is a source of immense pride, as the Microsoft Excel category requires contestants to demonstrate sharp logical thinking and meticulous data processing skills," said Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuấn, an IT teacher and representative of the team's coaching board. "Furthermore, they were not just competing against peers from other high schools, but also going head-to-head with university and college students."
This achievement at MOSWC is the fruitful result of Greenfield School's well-structured investment and systematic training strategy, which integrates the MOS (Microsoft Office Specialist) curriculum into mainstream classes. Throughout the teaching process, the IT faculty has consistently focused on early talent identification, designing personalized coaching roadmaps, and providing opportunities for students to participate in prestigious competitions. This approach established a strong foundation for a highly qualified team, with 100% of its members earning the MOS 2019 certification after the National Preliminaries, including many who achieved a perfect score of 1000/1000.
Congratulations to the resilient "warriors" of Greenfield School Ecopark Campus. The achievements at MOSWC 2026 are not only a matter of personal pride for the students but also a driving force for GFS to further invest in digital skills training. This continues the school's mission to fully equip students for the new era: understanding, mastering, and shaping the future with technology.
