“Let’s Go Bucky!”: A 2-Day breakthrough for first-grade newcomers to confidently integrate into Greenfield School

Specially designed for rising first-graders, "Let's Go Bucky!" serves as a seamless stepping stone. The program offers young learners an early opportunity to familiarize themselves with new friends, teachers, the campus environment, and daily routines at Greenfield School Ecopark Campus before the new academic year officially begins.

Overcoming initial hesitation and unfamiliarity, the children quickly adjusted to their new surroundings through a rich variety of hands-on activities. Across five interactive stations—Creative Bucky, Active Bucky, Curious Bucky, English-Loving Bucky, and Music-Loving Bucky—students explored their personal talents while earning lovely, meaningful gifts along the way.

The program kicked off at the multi-purpose sports hall with lively activities that helped students break out of their shells. They not only met their teachers and classmates and enjoyed vibrant performances, but many also bravely took the stage to showcase their own talents in front of their peers and mentors.

In the classroom, the children learned standard Grade 1 routines through engaging lessons in IQ development, Vietnamese language, and creative arts. They were also equipped with essential safety skills for bus rides and personal independence—such as proper handwashing, orderly queuing, and clearing up after meals. Though simple, these foundational habits build the bedrock of self-reliance for their upcoming journey.

Additionally, "Let's Go Bucky!" led the young adventurers through the expansive 30,000 m² campus, exploring modern classrooms and specialized function rooms. They also joined in exciting team-building physical games designed to build strength, foster teamwork, and deepen bonds with peers and teachers.

The two-day experience flew by, leaving students familiar with their school, closer to their friends and teachers, and confident in themselves. Greenfield School believes the "Let's Go Bucky!" integration program has established a solid foundation, empowering students to enter the 2026–2027 school year with courage and excitement.
