Odd Socks Day 2026: Greenfield School teachers and students join hands against school bullying

11/08/2026

Tens of thousands of mismatched socks, one powerful message: "Every individual is unique, and diversity deserves respect".

Odd Socks Day is an annual event held under Greenfield School’s anti-bullying campaign, "Donut Bully," which has been maintained for the past four years. This year’s campaign zeroes in on cyberbullying with the theme "Click Smart, Stay Safe." The peak of the campaign launched this August, kicked off by the vibrant Odd Socks Day festival.

During the event, teachers and students were encouraged to wear unique, unconventional socks to celebrate personal style and embrace individual differences. Though tens of thousands of socks differed in style, they shared a unified message: "Every individual is unique, and diversity deserves respect."

Participants eagerly captured memorable moments at designated check-in areas and joined interactive games to win exciting prizes. Additionally, a sticker-heart activity on digital mock-up boards helped students and faculty raise awareness, boost self-protection skills, and promote civil behavior in cyberspace.

Do Bao Chau (Class 11G1) shared: "This is my third year joining Odd Socks Day as a student collaborator. I hope that through the activities we organize, students not only enjoy themselves but also become more conscious of building a safe and friendly learning environment together."

Following Odd Socks Day, the "Donut Bully" campaign will continue with new highlight activities, including tailored workshop series for students across all grade levels and parents, specialized lessons on cyberbullying prevention, the "Design The Wellness Space" contest, and the "Build and Bond" parent-child bonding initiative.

Here are some of the joyful and unique moments from today’s Odd Socks Day:
