The atmosphere was “electric” during the series of football and basketball matches for Grades 6–9.

Today (12/5), the atmosphere at Greenfield Olympics continued to heat up with highly exciting placement and final matches in both basketball and football.
5x5 BASKETBALL – GRADES 6 & 7
In the 3rd–4th place match, Orange Tiger (6G2, 6A5, 7C2, 7A6, 7A7) faced Green Elephant (6C2, 6A4, 7G2, 7A4). Green Elephant quickly controlled the game with solid defense and effective teamwork, securing a dominant 22–0 victory to finish in third place overall.
In the final, Yellow Bear (6G4, 6A3, 7C1, 7A1) and Blue Dolphin (6G3, 6A2, 7G1, 7A3) delivered an exciting high-tempo showdown. Yellow Bear made the most of their scoring opportunities and maintained their advantage throughout the game, winning 22–11 to be crowned the 5x5 Basketball Champions for Grades 6 & 7.
BOYS’ FOOTBALL – GRADE 8
The 3rd–4th place match between Yellow Bear (8G3, 8A5) and Purple Eagle (8G2, 8A2, 8A8) featured dynamic back-and-forth play. Purple Eagle capitalized on their chances to secure a 3–1 win and claim the bronze medal.
In the final, Orange Tiger (8C2, 8A1, 8A4) and Green Elephant (8G1, 8A3, 8A6) played a tightly contested match with no goals during regular time. The winner was decided by a tense penalty shootout, where Green Elephant converted 2 attempts to become the Grade 8 Boys’ Football Champions.
GIRLS’ FOOTBALL – GRADES 8 & 9
Green Elephant (9C1, 9A3, 8G1, 8A3, 8A6) delivered an impressive performance against Orange Tiger (9A5, 8C2, 8A1, 8A4), winning 2–0 with cohesive teamwork and effective combinations.
Meanwhile, the match between Yellow Bear (9A2, 9A4, 8G3, 8A5) and Blue Dolphin (9G1, 9A1, 8C1, 8A7) was closely contested. Yellow Bear made the most of their opportunity to score the decisive goal, winning 1–0 and advancing to the next stage.
As the matches concluded, the teams brought a vibrant atmosphere and many memorable moments to Greenfield Olympics. Football and basketball competitions for the Upper Secondary level will continue tomorrow, 13/5, with more exciting matchups. Parents, teachers, and students are warmly invited to follow and cheer for the teams!

Outperforming over 1,500 students nationwide, Pham Minh Khoi (Class 6A1) and Nguyen Do Phuong Nam (Class 8A2) have successfully secured their places among the top 30 young footballers to attend the Premier League Summer Camp in Thailand. The event is part of a school football initiative jointly organized by AIA Vietnam and Tottenham Hotspur FC (UK).
