The champion of Bucky's English Show has been officially revealed

After intense Preliminary and Semifinal Rounds, the top 8 teams advanced to the Grand Finale of Bucky’s English Show 2024, facing a series of thrilling and challenging tasks. In this final showdown, four teams from each grade, 4 and 5, competed in four exciting rounds: Word Master, Puzzle Race, Speed Buzz, and Story Wizards.

Round 1: Word Master

In this round, one team member was responsible for acting out vocabulary words displayed on the screen, while the other two used their linguistic skills to guess the correct words. Thanks to their rich vocabulary and sharp deduction skills, Dynamite (4C2), The Oxygen (4A1), and Elite 5.0 (5A1) took the early lead.

*In the first round, a rich vocabulary, along with strong reasoning and deduction skills, helped the teams successfully complete their tasks.*

Round 2: Puzzle Race

Each team competed in two head-to-head challenges, where members navigated obstacles to collect vocabulary pieces and arrange them into accurate sentences on the board. The fastest and most accurate team earned points. Dynamite (4C2) and Elite 5.0 (5A1) continued to lead, while No.1 (5G1) and Fighting (5G4) struggled to score.

*Not only did the teams have to arrange the given words into a complete sentence, but they also needed to work in sync and run quickly to stick the sentence on the board.*

Round 3: Speed Buzz

This round tested the teams' quick thinking as they raced to answer Quizizz questions, with additional bonus points awarded for responding to follow-up questions from the judges. Dynamite (4C2), The Oxygen (4A1), Titans (4C1), and Elite 5.0 (5A1) demonstrated their broad knowledge and agility, securing well-earned points.

*The teams had the opportunity to earn extra points by answering bonus questions from the Judges.*

Round 4: Story Wizards

In the final and most memorable round, each team had three minutes to present a creative and meaningful story. Through their engaging performances, the students delivered powerful messages about perseverance, environmental protection, and the importance of careful decision-making.

*Not only did the teams impress with their performances, but they also conveyed meaningful messages that they shared throughout the competition.*

After a journey of great effort and determination, the Organizing Committee of Bucky’s English Show 2024 would like to congratulate the outstanding teams:

First place:

Grade 4 - Dynamite Team (Le Quang Nhat, Do Lam Anh, Nguyen Ngoc Thao Nguyen - 4C2)
Grade 5 - Elite 5.0 Team (Pham Khoi Nguyen, Chu Khoi Nguyen, Vu Ha An - 5A1)

Second Place:

Grade 4 - The Oxygen Team (Vo Hoang Quyen, Le Hoang Anh, Dao Tuan Hung - 4A1)
Grade 5 - G3 Boys Team (Tran Khac Phu, Ung Nhat Anh, Luong Minh Phúc - 5G3)

Third Place & Special Award:

Grade 4 - Titans Team (Duong Quynh Chi; Luo Tri Vien; Le Anh Tu - 4C1)
Grade 5 - No.1 Team (Do Khoi Nguyen; Ott Lea Vy; Nguyen Vu Chi Hieu - 5G1)

Honorable Mention:

Grade 4 - The Champions Team (Nguyen Le Bao Anh, Nguyen Bao Chau, Pham Gia Bao Minh - 4A1, 4G1)
Grade 5 - Fighting Team (Bui Nguyen Trang Nhu, Bui Quang Linh, Le Hoang Truong Giang - 5G4)
