The champion of the "Tieng noi xanh" season 2 competition calling Tu Minh Anh

The "Tiếng nói Xanh" competition, organized by the Green Future Fund under Vingroup, aims to raise community awareness and encourage sustainable environmental actions. The competition featured four rounds: registration, preliminary, head-to-head, and final debate, where participants, either individually or in pairs, debated based on ten key action programs of the Green Future Fund. These programs included Green Mobility, Green Energy, Green Office, Green Consumption, Green Lifestyle, Green Urbanization, Green Tourism, Green Education, Green Healthcare, and Green Sports.

In the final round on January 19, Từ Minh Anh and Phạm Quỳnh Anh presented their innovative ideas and successfully answered challenging questions from both their opponents and the judges. With a sharp argumentation, confident delivery, and fluent English, the Greenie Goofballs team triumphed with a resounding 5-0 victory.

Minh Anh, having previously participated in numerous environmental projects, saw the competition as the perfect opportunity to voice her thoughts and implement her ideas. "We both love traveling, and it’s an industry that’s close to us. However, we couldn’t ignore the negative impacts of tourism and the issue of over-tourism during peak seasons. Therefore, we wanted to create a system with technology that can change the behavior of users because it is through them that the solutions can become most viable," Minh Anh shared.

Their Eco-Token model, based on Blockchain technology, aims to address the pollution and ecosystem destruction caused by over-tourism. Tourists will receive an electronic wallet connected to an app, accumulating tokens through environmental protection activities like planting trees, reducing waste, and using eco-friendly transportation. These tokens can be redeemed for discounts, eco-tourism activities, or participation in environmental restoration projects.

Before becoming the champions of "Tiếng nói Xanh" Season 2, Minh Anh had already achieved impressive successes in domestic and international debating competitions. She was the champion of the Speak Out! English Debate competition in the 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 academic years, a member of the judging panel for the Greenfield Debating Championship 2023-2024, the Open Champion of the Asian Debating Championship, and a Top 8 finisher at WSDC Team Vietnam.

As the English category champion, the Greenie Goofballs team was awarded the Green Future Scholarship (a 100% scholarship for undergraduate programs at VinUni University, applicable to all majors), valued at 3.3 billion VND, along with many other valuable prizes such as 50 million VND in cash and a VinFast Evo 200 electric scooter.

This well-deserved reward reflects the dedication, innovation, and environmental responsibility shown by the students over the past five months. We congratulate Từ Minh Anh on this remarkable achievement, and we believe this success will be a stepping stone for Minh Anh to continue achieving impressive results, inspiring many young people, especially the students of Greenfield School, to think big and act for a sustainable future.
