The exciting atmosphere at the Cambridge Talents competition for Grade 5

30 knowledge-based questions covering Math, English, and Science, with only 15 seconds to think and respond—these were not easy challenges at the Cambridge Talents competition, yet they provided invaluable experiences for the students. This morning, 50 young contestants from Grade 5 of the Cambridge International Program stepped into the competition with determination and confidence.
The competition began with great excitement from the students. In the first few questions, the contestants quickly provided accurate answers. However, Question 7, a challenging math-related question, led many contestants to leave the competition with regret. When only five contestants remained in the final round, the "ball-passing" rescue challenge was introduced, successfully bringing all participants back into the game.
Learning from previous rounds, the second stage saw contestants answering with greater confidence, making the competition even more intense. After Question 9, 15 contestants remained on stage, maintaining their strong performance up to Question 12. Ultimately, the champion was revealed at Question 19 after a thrilling showdown between two contestants from classes 5C1 and 5C2.
After overcoming a series of challenging questions in both competition stages, congratulations to Lê Ngọc Trấn Minh (5C1) for becoming the champion of the Cambridge Talents competition for Grade 5!
The Cambridge Talents competition provides an opportunity for students to enhance their knowledge, sharpen their English reflexes, and develop logical thinking. Every question, whether easy or difficult, offers valuable experiences, demonstrating the contestants’ efforts and determination.
