The journey to excellence: Impressive checkpoint results for Greenfield School warriors

Results are graded by CAIE based on a global assessment framework with the following performance bands: Outstanding (41–50 points), High (31–40 points), Good (21–30 points), Aspiring (11–20 points), Basic (1–10 points), and Unclassified (0 points).

Continuing the tradition of academic excellence established by previous generations of GFS students, this year’s Grade 6 and Grade 9 cohorts have firmly asserted their positions on the global stage:

Cambridge Lower Secondary (Grade 9)

• Mathematics: Achieved an Outstanding average score of 42/50, surpassing the global average by 11 points.

• English as a Second Language (ESL) & Science: Both subjects achieved a High average score, exceeding the global average by 6 points (32/50) and 7 points (39/50), respectively.

Cambridge Primary (Grade 6)

• Mathematics & Science: Both subjects achieved a High average score, outperforming the global average by 7 points (39/50) and 1 point (34/50), respectively.

• ESL: Achieved a Good average score.

Individual Highlights

The season saw exceptional individual performances:

• 5 students achieved Outstanding scores in all three subjects.

• 8 students earned a perfect score of 50/50 in at least one subject (ESL, Mathematics, or Science).

These impressive results are not only a source of pride for the students but also a clear testament to the effectiveness of the Cambridge International Program at GFS—a curriculum characterized by academic depth and a highly experienced teaching staff. This success serves as a powerful motivator, bolstering students' confidence as they progress to higher levels of education.
