Outstanding Achievement
Valedictorian of the 2024 National High School Graduation Exam
Success comes from unremitting efforts
Before the High School Graduation Exam, Nhat Vi received notification of admission from 5 universities, including: Hanoi University, University of Commerce, Banking Academy, Swinburne Vietnam University and Greenwich Vietnam University by the method of reviewing academic transcripts and IELTS. As long as she had a passing score in the graduation exam, she was sure to have a "ticket" to study at the university of her dreams.
However, in the graduation exam, Nhat Vi still tried her best and led in the total score of 6 subjects in the whole school, including Math 8.6 points; Literature 9.0 points; History 9.25 points; Geography 8.5 points, Civic Education 9.0 points; English 10 points (converted to 7.0 IELTS).
At the same time, with the achieved scores, she excellently became the valedictorian of the C19 (Literature, Civic Education, History), D14 (Literature, History, English) and D78 (Literature, Social Sciences, English) blocks.
"When I saw the exam results, I was very happy. And even more surprised when I knew I was the valedictorian of the whole school because my classmates were also very good. For me, the results achieved come from efforts, along with a bit of luck," Nhat Vi shared.

Solid foundation knowledge is the most important thing
Right from the early years of high school, Nhat Vi had an orientation to study social subjects. She realized that was her advantage and passion. Therefore, she set goals early, made plans and tried to study evenly throughout the year. For her, mastering knowledge from the beginning will help her reduce time in the review process.
Sharing about her review secrets, Nhat Vi said she mainly studied at school combined with self-study at home. "I always focus on listening to lectures, not trying to memorize but focusing on reading comprehension and summarizing the content of knowledge of each subject right in class. During the exam preparation process, I practice more questions and reread the content in the books. In the final stage, I do not try to cram knowledge but divide the time reasonably to review, keeping myself comfortable and optimistic," Nhat Vi said.
For subjects that are not her forte, Nhat Vi always has specific learning plans and methods. In addition to studying in class, Nhat Vi practices more questions at home, divides lessons into categories for easy review and sets goals for each part. She believes that this helps her train her thinking, grasp knowledge and remember lessons for a long time, thereby not being surprised by strange and difficult types of questions.
According to Nhat Vi, balancing between play and study is very important, she herself does not put much emphasis on achievements. Throughout 3 years of high school, Nhat Vi always spends time entertaining interspersed with studying. She is also a member of the SOL Music Club and the Greenfield Editorial Club.

Desire to pursue Human Resource Management
11 years of studying at Greenfield School, Nhat Vi is always grateful because this is the premise to help her get closer to her dreams. For her, the dedicated support and teaching of teachers has helped her mature and achieve high results. Besides that, the process of studying in the Global Citizen Bilingual system helps Nhat Vi rub against IELTS, thereby increasing the chances of applying to the universities she loves.
Recently, Nhat Vi continued to receive notification of admission from the National Economics University and decided to study Human Resource Management here. "During club activities at school, I have the opportunity to do recruitment work, work with many friends in the club. From there, I decided to learn and pursue Human Resource Management," Nhat Vi excitedly shared.
When they learned that 100% of students passed the High School Graduation Exam, including Nhat Vi achieving the highest total score, the teachers in the school were very happy. Ms. Thanh Van - Head of the High School Math Department said that the results achieved today, in addition to the efforts of the students, also include the efforts of the teachers.
"Right from the early years of high school, students have been divided into majors according to their interests and aspirations. Besides that, the school organizes high school graduation exam preparation classes and many mock exams to help students have the opportunity to review and rub against many types of questions to ensure 4 levels: recognition, understanding, application and high application on the basis of closely following the exam questions illustrated by the Ministry of Education and Training." Ms. Thanh Van shared more.
Congratulations to Nhat Vi on her proud results. The school believes that Nhat Vi will continue to reap many successes and happiness on the next journey!
