Greenfield School Students spread the reading culture from the community library

19/12/2024

With the desire to promote a reading culture, strengthen connections, and contribute to community development, the Public Library project has been officially launched by the students of class 10G1. This initiative is part of the Community Service course, which the students are carrying out during this academic year.

Realizing that several book cabinets in Ecopark Urban Area (Van Giang, Hung Yen) remained unused, the students, with permission from EcoPM Management Board, took the initiative to "fill the shelves" with donated books and stories.

On the afternoon of December 20, the students officially launched the project at Club House (Vuon Tung Community Center), attracting enthusiastic participation from teachers, parents, and residents. The event featured engaging activities aimed at promoting the project's growth and encouraging collective efforts to build a meaningful library for the community.

During the launch, the students donated books to Club House representatives, and captivating performances added to the lively atmosphere. A special highlight was their reenactment of the classic fairytale Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, which left a lasting impression and brought laughter to all attendees.

To continuously expand and refresh the collection, the project relies on book donations from the community. With two donation points at Club House Vuon Tung and the Westbay C Library, the students hope to receive contributions from parents, teachers, residents, and fellow students. Let’s support and follow their journey in building a thriving community library!
