Winning the championship at the Business Competition For Community, 12G1 students embark on a meaningful charity trip

On March 1st, the champions of the Business For Community Competition – Team 12G1.2 “Blueguard” (Tang Quang Anh, Tran Hong Anh, Duong Quynh Chau, Le Anh Dung, Trinh Bui Ngoc Khanh, Vu Gia Khanh) – embarked on a meaningful charity trip to Lo Son Commune Kindergarten in Tan Lac, Hoa Binh.
With the grand prize of 10,800,000 VND in the Community Support Fund, the “Blueguard” team has chosen to collaborate with Good Neighbors Vietnam (GNI) – a non-governmental and international development organization dedicated to community projects and child protection in Vietnam – through the "Child Sponsorship" program.
"Child Sponsorship" is a program initiated by GNI in 2005 to support children in difficult circumstances. Currently, GNI sponsors over 12,000 children across four provinces: Ha Giang, Tuyen Quang, Hoa Binh, and Thanh Hoa. The funds raised by the “Blueguard” team will be managed by GNI and allocated towards providing essential support, care, and fundamental rights for the children at Lo Son Commune Kindergarten.
In addition to the community support fund, small yet meaningful gifts such as food, school supplies, and books were also donated to the children. During the trip, the students organized interactive activities and English lessons for the younger children. The bright smiles, the eager hands raised to answer questions—these were the precious moments that made the journey even more fulfilling and meaningful.
Beyond being just a competition, the Business For Community Competition is a journey that empowers students to turn knowledge into action, directly contributing to and creating positive impacts in the community. We hope that through this experience, our students have gained a deeper understanding of sharing and social responsibility, inspiring them to continue spreading kindness and meaningful values in the future.

This initiative is part of the Community Service course, which the students are carrying out during this academic year.

After meeting with community partners at school and taking a field trip to the laundromat in September and October, the students of class 11G1 have begun meaningful initiatives to bring their support project for Giat la Sang—a laundromat run by the Deaf— to life. Their project focuses on two main activities: creating promotional videos for the laundromat’s TikTok channel and setting up a booth to encourage service registrations.
