11th graders immerse themselves in a vibrant cultural celebration

11/03/2025

No passport or visa needed—just an open heart and a willingness to embrace new things. Our students had the opportunity to explore the rich cultures of various countries around the world through the mid-term Geography project presentation - “The journey to global cultural integration - Season 3”.

Entering its third year, the program continues to receive enthusiastic participation from Grade 11 students. With a project-based learning approach, students have the opportunity to explore the unique cultural characteristics of various regions around the world, thereby gaining knowledge about people, population, society, and customs in different countries within the context of global integration.

This morning (March 11), the project presentation took place in an exciting and lively atmosphere, featuring a wide range of engaging activities. A total of 26 groups from 5 Social Studies classes and Class 11C1 explored the historical, natural, cultural, and social conditions of 11 countries worldwide, including Japan, India, Italy, France, the United States, Egypt, Thailand, South Korea, China, Russia, and Mexico.

Dressed in traditional costumes from different countries, the students delivered captivating performances and impressive stage presentations. Creative performances such as the Korean Doljanchi ceremony, the Mexican Santo Sueno Festival, the American Cowboy Dance, the traditional Japanese Yosakoi Dance, and the Chinese Tea Ceremony and Calligraphy not only vividly showcased cultural diversity but also reflected the fresh and inspiring perspectives of our young learners.

The culinary and exhibition area below the stage was equally vibrant, featuring diverse cultural artifacts, traditional games, and signature dishes from each nation. Teachers and students had the chance to admire cultural models handcrafted by students while savoring traditional dishes like Japanese sushi, Mexican taco with a conical hat twist, French cold cuts & cheese, and Indian Pani Puri.

The mid-term Geography project presentation - “The journey to global cultural integration - Season 3” - concluded with countless meaningful and enjoyable experiences. The school believes that through this project, students have enriched their understanding of world cultures, boosted their confidence in the context of global integration, and nurtured a spirit of creative cultural exploration.
