The journey to the top for Grade 9 athletes at the Greenfield Olympics is entering its climax with a series of exciting finals. The lively and intense competition atmosphere, along with a strong sense of sportsmanship, has created an emotionally charged week of contests.
BADMINTON
The top-performing Grade 9 players advanced to the finals with fast, powerful, and highly technical rallies. Intense exchanges and continuous score chases made the matches highly thrilling. In the end, the champions were: boys’ singles – Nguyen Duc Vinh (9A2), girls’ singles – Nguyen Quynh Chi (9A2), and mixed doubles – Ngo Bao Liem & Do Bao Ngoc (9A6).
CHESS
Tense matches unfolded with each move carefully calculated, clearly demonstrating the players’ logical thinking and competitive resilience. After intense strategic battles, the gold medals went to Nguyen Tran Anh Duong (9C1) in the girls’ category and Yu Jiajun (9A4) in the boys’ category.
PICKLEBALL
The pickleball finals were lively and fast-paced, featuring impressive coordination and exciting rallies. The closely contested matches kept spectators fully engaged throughout. A total of 16 medals were awarded to outstanding athletes.

ROPE SKIPPING
In the rope skipping event, teams demonstrated endurance, synchronization, and strong teamwork. Each round required precise timing and rhythm. The final results saw gold go to 9G2, silver to 9A6, and bronze to 9C1.

ARCHERY
The archery finals showcased impressive performances from the “archers,” with high accuracy and absolute concentration. Gold medals went to Tran Chi Dung (9A1) in boys’ singles, Hoang Mai Phuong (9G2) in girls’ singles, and Nguyen Gia Cat & Nguyen Hiep Dang Khoa (9G2) in mixed doubles.

FOOTBALL
Grade 9 football matches delivered exciting and dramatic developments. The match between Purple Eagle (9G2, 9A6) and Green Elephant (9C1, 9A3) ended in a 1–1 draw after intense back-and-forth play. In the penalty shootout, Green Elephant successfully converted two attempts to advance. Meanwhile, Blue Dolphin (9G1, 9A1) took an early lead and secured a 6–1 victory over Orange Tiger (9A5). In the following match, Green Elephant made the most of their chances to defeat Purple Eagle 2–1.

On April 29, the Grade 9 boys’ football finals and third-place matches will take place, promising more thrilling clashes. Parents, teachers, and students are warmly invited to attend, cheer, and support the players on the field!
