Be Psy Bucky 02: Transforming Pressure into Motivation
29/12/2024
High school is the “golden stage” for students to accumulate skills, build a solid knowledge foundation, and prepare for the future. It is also a time when they gradually shape their aspirations and personal goals. However, when faced with important decisions, many young people struggle with hesitation, uncertainty, and sometimes even pressure.
Building on the success of Episode 01, Be Psy Bucky 02 took place on the morning of December 27, attracting a large number of students from Grades 10, 11, and 12. With the theme "You Are Stronger Than You Think," the workshop not only provided valuable knowledge but also helped students define their goals and develop plans to achieve their dreams.

Through engaging activities and interactive games, Ms. Trinh Le Thuy Truc, School Psychologist, guided students in understanding the importance of goal-setting, distinguishing between motivation and pressure, and recognizing the causes and signs of stress. Some immediate and temporary solutions suggested included "exposure to cold water," "setting clear goals," and "establishing a structured routine" to help reduce pressure.

During the Vision Board activity, students set ambitious goals for the next five years, such as "becoming a surgeon," "traveling to Europe," "graduating from university," "having a stable job," "reading at least 50 books," or "earning 200 million VND." By applying the SMART Goal framework, they were able to refine their aspirations and develop concrete action plans to turn their goals into reality.

Every step in the journey of growth comes with challenges and pressure. Instead of avoiding them, students are encouraged to view pressure as an opportunity to develop resilience, enhance skills, and unlock their inner potential. Through goal-setting and structured planning, we hope they are now more prepared to pursue their dreams and move forward with confidence.
The Be Psy Bucky series, aimed at providing psychological knowledge and equipping students from Grades 6 to 12 with essential coping skills, will continue in the coming months. Parents, teachers, and students—stay tuned for more exciting topics ahead!
