GMath Expedition final round: Confident – Giving Their All – Ready for the Finish Line

25/03/2026

After its inaugural season, GMath Expedition has become a favorite Mathematics competition among Grade 9 students, providing them with opportunities to explore more advanced mathematical concepts and tackle a wide range of questions related to real-world applications of mathematics.

Building on that foundation, the competition aims to foster students’ interest, passion, and positive learning attitudes toward Mathematics.

Entering its second season, GMath Expedition has continued to attract strong participation from students. Following the preliminary round, nearly 50 Grade 10 students advanced to the final round this afternoon (March 25), approaching the challenge with confidence, determination, and a readiness to cross the finish line. Each question presented not only a challenge but also an opportunity for students to demonstrate their mathematical abilities and resilience.

Nearly 50 Grade 10 students took part in the GMath Expedition competition.

The GMath Expedition exam consisted of 25 questions to be completed within 75 minutes. The questions assessed students’ abilities from two perspectives: advanced Mathematics based on the MOET curriculum and logical reasoning and problem-solving skills. Through the competition, students not only strengthened their mathematical knowledge, expanded their thinking, and gained valuable experience, but also developed a more proactive and positive approach to learning.

Contestants confidently showcased their abilities throughout the competition.

“One of the organizing committee’s biggest challenges is designing an exam that both helps students consolidate and systematize their knowledge while also extending it to higher levels, covering topics from Algebra and Geometry to Probability and Statistics. In addition, logical reasoning and algorithmic-thinking problems are included to challenge students’ multidimensional thinking skills,” shared Ms. Hoang Thi Thanh Hang, Head of the Secondary Mathematics Department.

Based on the final scores, the Organizing Committee will award the Champion, Runner-up, and Potential prizes to the most outstanding participants. Congratulations to all students on completing the competition, and stay tuned for the results, which will be announced soon!
