Grade 12 students explore British University Vietnam

28/02/2025

This morning, Grade 12 students embarked on a study tour and experiential visit to British University Vietnam (BUV). This activity is part of Greenfield School’s career orientation program, aiming to support students in their journey of self-discovery and in choosing the right major and career path.

During the visit, Grade 12 students had the opportunity to experience an international learning environment meeting QS 5-star standards through various activities, including a campus tour, lunch at the canteen, a trial session of a specialized class, exploration of student clubs, and learning about scholarships and exchange programs. They also got a glimpse into student life at BUV (British University Vietnam). Throughout the experience, the students impressed BUV's lecturers and seniors with their proactiveness and fluent English skills.

Students explored the BUV campus and learning spaces.

A highlight of the visit was the specialized trial class led by Mr. Julien Psomas, a lecturer in Tourism Management. Beyond an introduction to the subject and study pathway, students actively participated in a group activity titled "Imagining a Future Trip in 2050." The lecturer outlined four key criteria for their ideas: transportation, destination, technology, and sustainability. Creative concepts such as solar-powered transportation, space tourism, Meta AI applications, and eco-friendly travel showcased their innovative thinking and vivid imagination.

The interactive classes attracted strong participation and enthusiasm from the students.

Entering their final year of high school, they are preparing for new journeys and moving closer to their dream universities. Hopefully, today’s trip has provided them with valuable insights into academic programs and future careers, helping them make informed decisions as they plan their paths after graduation.
