Grade 12 students “transform” into university students to explore the learning environment at the British University Vietnam (BUV).
10/12/2025
As part of the career guidance activities for high school students, yesterday (December 9), the Grade 12 students participated in a career-oriented campus tour at the British University Vietnam (BUV).
The program, jointly organized by Greenfield School and BUV, provided students with the opportunity to experience a university-level learning environment and prepare for their future academic and career pathways.
As two educational institutions located within the Ecopark urban area, Greenfield School and BUV share a common goal of building a modern education foundation, enhancing the quality of internationally-standardized curricula, and emphasizing students’ holistic development. Over the years, BUV has partnered with Greenfield School through various scholarship programs; many Greenfield students have successfully received scholarships and chosen BUV to continue their higher education journey.
During the visit, Grade 12 students had the chance to meet and interact with BUV staff and students. They met Mr. James McMillan – Academic Ambassador at BUV, listened to career guidance from Ms. Đặng Thị Ngọc Quyên – Head of Partnership and Development, and Ms. Nguyễn Thùy Dương – Senior Representative of the Partnership and Development Office. The students also toured campus facilities, explored student life, and discovered interesting aspects of studying at BUV with guidance from lecturers, staff, and senior students.
The career exploration visit also allowed students to experience international university classes in Vietnam by attending trial lessons in Business, Communication, Computer Science, and Technology. In each class, students were introduced to the curriculum, potential career opportunities, and actively engaged with lecturers by asking questions and participating in discussions. The students’ serious, proactive learning attitude and confident English communication skills left a strong impression on both lecturers and senior students at BUV.

Particularly in the Communication class, students had the opportunity to interact with Mr. Nguyễn Hoàng Dương – a former Greenfield School Ecopark student from the 2024–2025 cohort who received a 50% scholarship at BUV and is currently studying Creative Communication. His authentic, relatable, and inspiring sharing helped students gain a deeper understanding of the BUV learning environment and motivated them to develop a clear, well-directed strategy based on their own abilities and passions.
At the end of the visit, Grade 12 students left with fresh perspectives on planning their future paths. Greenfield School extends its gratitude to BUV for their thoughtful support and valuable experiences provided to the students. The school believes that this trip not only broadened students’ understanding of an international university environment but also enhanced their motivation and clarity in planning their upcoming educational journey.
