Grade 4 students explore the "miniature Truong Son" in the heart of Hanoi

There might be few roads in the world as legendary as Truong Son Road (also known as the Ho Chi Minh Trail) — the strategic transportation route supporting the Southern battlefield and three Indochina countries during the resistance war against the American imperialists.
This morning, Grade 4 students had an educational and experiential field trip to the Ho Chi Minh Trail Museum (Ha Dong, Hanoi). As a unique cultural work of the Truong Son Army Corps, the museum vividly recreates the heroic history of the nation during the anti-American resistance with more than 15,000 original artifacts.
Under the enthusiastic guidance of the museum staff, the students learned about the artifact collection from the Dien Bien Phu Campaign of 1954, the badge awarded by President Ho Chi Minh to the heroes of great achievements, and the anti-jamming innovation by the Army Corps from 1968 to 1972 at the exhibition room.

During the trip, the students also had the chance to visit the outdoor exhibition area, featuring the command bunker, documents about President Ho Chi Minh, and personal memorabilia. Especially, they were able to witness the Truong Son battlefield model firsthand, gaining a deeper understanding of the hardships and sacrifices of our army and people — those who once “crossed Trường Sơn to save the country”.

Although the journey came to an end, many students still wished to stay a little longer, listening to more stories about the heroic history and exploring additional artifacts. The school believes that through this trip, the students have not only gained valuable historical knowledge but also nurtured a sense of pride in the nation's heritage.
