Students from Grades 8–11 designed their study-abroad journey in China alongside representatives from China Campus Network.

In recent years, China has increasingly affirmed its position as one of the leading education and research hubs in Asia, with a high-quality university system and a wide range of attractive scholarship opportunities.
To provide students from Grades 8–11 with a comprehensive and realistic perspective on studying in China, the GFS Career Guidance Department, in collaboration with China Campus Network (CCN), organized the workshop “Design Your Future in China – Thiết kế hành trình du học Trung Quốc” for the entire school.
China Campus Network (CCN) is a consortium of 37 leading universities in China. It is currently partnering with GFS to implement the Chinese Language Program within the Bilingual Global Citizen track starting from the 2025–2026 academic year, designed for students aiming for international study and global career pathways. The program focuses on advanced Chinese language training combined with modern AI technology, targeting HSK 5 proficiency even at the high school level, while also integrating an International Foundation Program (IFP) aligned with selected majors to support students in preparing for university pathways in China.
The workshop featured representatives from CCN, including Ms. Nguyễn Thị Thanh Thúy – Director of Admissions and International Cooperation, Ms. Lê Diệu Linh – Chinese Program Manager, and Mr. Phạm Quang Nam – Academic Support Specialist. With their professional expertise and practical insights, the speakers provided valuable information on study-abroad pathways, learning opportunities, and essential skills needed for students to confidently integrate into an international environment.
The workshop was dynamic and interactive, featuring engaging activities. Students participated in a Kahoot challenge to explore knowledge about Chinese culture, education, and study-abroad pathways before gaining a broader overview of China’s higher education system, key academic disciplines, and major initiatives such as Project 211, Project 985, and the C9 League of elite universities.
Through the application of the Ikigai framework, students reflected on their interests, strengths, and personal orientation to identify suitable academic fields. The workshop also provided useful insights into university admission requirements for both English-taught and Chinese-taught programs, strategies for building strong application profiles, and step-by-step preparation plans starting from high school.
A key highlight of the program was the group activity “Design Your Study Journey in China.” Students reviewed their academic records, discussed potential majors, shared reasons for choosing China as a study destination, and mapped out milestone plans across their high school years to turn their study-abroad goals into reality.
The Q&A session also received enthusiastic participation from GFS students, with many questions related to scholarships, language requirements, major selection, and student life in China. Practical sharing from experts helped students feel more confident and proactive in shaping their future pathways.
Concluding the workshop, Greenfield School students gained valuable insights into studying in China and began to visualize their academic and career pathways in an international environment more clearly. Parents and teachers are warmly invited to look back at the highlights from the workshop held this morning.
