[Tet of Kindness 2026] Greenfield School teachers and students deliver a journey of love to Lung Ca School site

26/01/2026

As a cherished tradition, whenever Tet and spring arrive, journeys filled with love depart from Greenfield School, carrying care and compassion to students in mountainous regions.

And in this Tet of Kindness 2026 season, teachers and students of Greenfield School Ecopark officially launched the school’s largest charity program of the year with a meaningful journey to Lung Ca school site (Thai Nguyen) on January 23, carrying the hope of bringing a warm and joyful Tet to the children there.

Lung Ca school site, under Lung Luong Primary School, is located on the peak of Sa Luong Mountain (Lung Ca hamlet, Than Sa commune, Thai Nguyen province). Most students here belong to the H’Mong ethnic minority and come from disadvantaged and near-poor households. The terrain is mainly mountainous, with winding and challenging roads. Many students have to walk nearly an hour to get to school. Learning conditions remain limited, with temporary facilities and a lack of modern teaching equipment.

“Blue clouds spreading knowledge”—the charity journey—has become a cherished tradition at Greenfield School whenever Tet and spring arrive.

From early January, the Greenfield Student Council (GSC) and the Greenfield Volunteer Club (GVC) began calling for donations and fundraising for the project “Blue clouds spreading knowledge.” In a short time, the Greenfield School Ecopark community came together to create truly meaningful results: thousands of books, comics, notebooks, and learning supplies; 100 kilograms of rice; along with blankets, pillows, and mattresses. In addition, the school allocated funds from the Kindness Fund to purchase teaching equipment, bookshelves, Tet gifts, and trees to present to the teachers and students of Lung Ca.

After traveling more than 125 kilometers to reach the school site, Greenfield teachers and students proactively carried out their assigned tasks—planting trees, installing playground equipment, arranging bookshelves, preparing gifts, and cooking warm, hearty meals. During the exchange program, meaningful gifts were personally handed to the children, alongside interactive experience stations featuring engaging activities such as theatrical performances and lively musical showcases.

Some of the activities actively carried out by Greenfield School teachers and students upon arrival at the school site.

By listening to the heartfelt stories shared by local students and teachers, Greenfield students gained a deeper understanding of compassion and empathy in everyday life. Nguyen Quynh Anh (Class 12G1), President of the Volunteer Club, shared:
“By participating in charity programs like this, I have learned to appreciate my own life more and to better understand the lives of teachers and students in mountainous areas—people who, despite many hardships, remain resilient and optimistic.”

Representing Lung Ca school site, Ms. Dinh Thi Hoa, Vice Principal, expressed her sincere gratitude and deep appreciation for the strong sense of responsibility and heartfelt dedication brought by the Greenfield School community. The gifts presented by Greenfield teachers and students will serve as motivation for Lung Ca students to continue striving in both life and learning, helping to ignite their dreams and aspirations.

Greenfield School believes that this charity journey is not only a bridge of love connecting the hearts of the Greenfield community with teachers and students in mountainous regions, but also a meaningful lesson in compassion, sharing, and social responsibility for every student. While the journey to Lung Ca school site has come to an end, the Tet of Kindness 2026 journey has only just begun.

Participating in Tet of Kindness means giving the gift of a compassionate spring. Parents are warmly invited to follow the meaningful activities of this Tet season and continue accompanying their children on this journey of kindness.
