Turning the classroom into a “recruitment fair,” Grade 11 students get ready for their future career journey.

Instead of regular theoretical lessons, Grade 11 students took part in an interdisciplinary experiential activity combining Life Skills and Economic–Legal Education, organized in the form of a “Recruitment Fair.”

Grade 11 students “stepped into the role” of company executives, presenting their business profiles.

The activity aimed to help students understand and organize a recruitment fair following a proper process, demonstrating professional thinking from both the recruiter’s and the applicant’s perspectives. Through this experience, they developed a wide range of essential skills for future work and life, including leadership, observation, critical thinking, teamwork, problem-solving, presentation, and debate.

Grade 11 students “transformed” into company executives, introducing their own business profiles.

The “Recruitment Fair” project spanned 12 weeks, starting in mid-August. Each class was divided into three main groups, and each main group was further divided into three subgroups corresponding to different roles: Management (creating company profiles), Human Resources (posting job ads, building a company fan page, conducting interviews), and Job Applicants (writing CVs, preparing job applications, attending interviews). For each task, the groups prepared their work independently, received feedback from teachers, and refined their products accordingly.

During the fair, each “company” had 45 minutes to present its business profile and conduct live interviews with applicants. The “recruiters” asked questions to assess the candidates’ competencies and qualities, while the “applicants” showcased their confidence and communication skills to make a strong impression on the employers.

Subject teachers and a special guest (the teacher in a blazer in the back row) joined the lesson to support the “recruiters.”

Sharing her experience as a job applicant in the “Recruitment Fair,” Lê Nhật Chi Mai (Class 11A4) excitedly said“The ‘Recruitment Fair’ project was truly a fun and memorable experience for me! Through this lesson, I learned how to think on my feet, speak more confidently, and understand what it feels like to be in a real interview.”

Experiencing these new roles for the first time, students couldn’t help but laugh at the many humorous and lighthearted moments that unfolded.

The lesson is still being implemented across Grade 11 classes, promising to bring students even more valuable learning experiences and opportunities to practice interview and recruitment skills in a dynamic, real-world learning environment. We invite parents and students to take a look back at the memorable moments from the “Recruitment Fair” project at Greenfield School Ecopark!
