11G2 Students visit the shelter for their "four-legged friends"
19/09/2024
Visiting the shelter that cares for our "four-legged friends," brainstorming ideas, setting up, and capturing themed photos for special occasions, or even giving the dogs a bath—these were some of the meaningful and exciting experiences for the 11G2 students during their trip to the "Sân Nhà Nhiều Chó" rescue station in Thanh Oai, Hanoi, this morning.
Founded in 2021, “San Nha Nhieu Cho” has rescued, cared for, and found new homes for many unfortunate dogs and cats. Beyond operating with love and compassion, the organization also aims to change perceptions and raise awareness about animal welfare. As of now, more than 500 dogs and cats are being cared for and nurtured here.

On August 29, at Greenfield School, students had the opportunity to hear firsthand stories about “San Nha Nhieu Cho” from its representatives. Everyone was especially excited to learn about some of the unique cases of the four-legged friends currently being cared for at the shelter. And today, during their visit, the students were even more thrilled to meet these furry friends in real life.

After nearly four years, “San Nha Nhieu Cho” still faces financial challenges in sustaining its operations. Understanding this, the students came up with the idea of designing and selling desk calendars to raise funds for the shelter. Dressing the dogs in festive outfits—such as reindeer sweaters, Christmas coats, traditional Vietnamese "ao dai", and unicorn costumes—the students captured adorable moments to use in their calendar project..

Additionally, to help raise community awareness about responsible pet ownership and to spread encouragement and support for those running the shelter and rescuing animals, the students also planned to produce social media videos.
The 11G2 students will need a lot of support from the community. Stay tuned for their upcoming video and join them in spreading love to these four-legged friends!
