As part of the “Together for Care” project, on November 21, Grade 10G3 students held the third workshop – “Shrinky Dinksies”. This final session marked the persistent efforts of the 10G3 cohort to raise funds and send gifts to the Kim Bảng Veteran Nursing Center in Hà Nam.
Since September, the “Together for Care” project has unfolded through a series of creative and meaningful activities: a photo frame workshop called “Frames of Gratitude”, a Halloween-themed Oreo Pop sale, and most recently, the “Shrinky Dinksies” keychain workshop. This final workshop helped push the total funds raised to over 10 million VND, surpassing the initial goal set by the organizers to donate to the Kim Bảng Veteran Nursing Center in Hà Nam.
The “Shrinky Dinksies” workshop gave participants the chance to create cute heat-shrink plastic keychains – a practical, simple craft that can be completed in a short time and makes a thoughtful gift for friends or family. In preparation for this final workshop, the organizing team worked meticulously on idea generation, budget planning, material allocation, task assignment, and event management.

Tuệ Linh, Head of Content, reflected on the challenges faced: "At the beginning, every task and decision felt unfamiliar and caused a lot of anxiety because this was our first time running a large-scale project." For Xuân Tùng, Deputy Project Lead, the difficulty was: "We didn’t yet know how to coordinate the group, manage, organize, and fairly divide responsibilities among team members."

Mr. Anh Nguyên, Community Project Teacher, shared:"Running a project always comes with uncertainties and differing opinions. But along the way, students learned to listen, collaborate, and take initiative to coordinate and solve problems. Even when hesitant, they were willing to try and face challenges. That, above all, is the greatest value a community project brings."
With the funds raised from these three stages, on December 13, Grade 10G3 students will visit the Kim Bảng Center in Hà Nam to meet, interact with, and personally deliver gifts to the veterans. Parents, teachers, and students are warmly invited to follow and support this meaningful activity of the project!
