The program consisted of two sessions: enhancing speaking skills through reading and grammar lessons” (for Primary teachers) and developing students’ writing skills using the new close-up B2/B2+ textbook” (for Secondary teachers)
During the primary session, Mr. Andrew emphasized the vital role of Reading and Grammar in the English curriculum. He guided teachers on how to maximize reading comprehension activities to help students express their thoughts in English, and how to transform grammar exercises into communicative opportunities, enabling students to apply language structures naturally in familiar contexts.

In the secondary session, Mr. Andrew addressed the challenges students often face with the Writing skill, which requires constant innovation and methodological updates from teachers. He introduced several effective techniques for teaching writing, as well as strategies to integrate Writing with Reading and Speaking, and to make the most of modern technology to enhance students’ writing performance.
The workshop also served as a vibrant platform for teachers to actively discuss, exchange ideas, and pose questions based on their real-world teaching experiences. Mr. Andrew expressed his admiration for the teachers’ creativity, deep understanding of student psychology, and openness to innovation, all of which reflect the professionalism and passion of Greenfield School’s teaching team.

Workshops led by renowned international experts are a regular part of the professional development program at Greenfield School, offering teachers not only valuable insights but also opportunities to refine and elevate their instructional practices.
We hope that the practical knowledge shared during this program will inspire teachers to adapt and innovate their methods, delivering dynamic and impactful lessons for students in the upcoming school year.
