Seminar: High School Learning Pathways and Career Outcomes

27/03/2026

As the 2025-2026 academic year approaches, Grade 9 students and their parents face a pivotal turning point. To address the anxieties surrounding post-secondary choices and to help families define the most effective academic trajectories, Greenfield School Ecopark Campus is proud to announce the seminar: "High School Learning Pathways and Career Outcomes".

The three years of high school represent a "golden window" for students to solidify their knowledge base, hone essential skills, and map out their futures. It is a critical period for vocational exploration and building the necessary credentials for university success.

Key Highlights of the Seminar:

Exploring the Holistic Education Model: A "Key" for the New Era In an ever-evolving world, academic excellence alone is no longer enough. GFS’s holistic model equips students with a robust "competency armor," including civic virtues, eight essential life skills, and practical problem-solving mindsets. Through active learning and diverse experiential activities, students are nurtured to become well-rounded individuals who can confidently shine in their own unique ways.

Decoding Post-Grade 9 Options: Where to After Junior High? Experts will provide a comprehensive overview of the diverse landscape following Grade 9—ranging from traditional public and specialized schools to holistic private models and vocational streams. Moving beyond the "pass-fail" pressure, the seminar focuses on matching a student's unique personality and capacity with the right environment for sustainable growth.

High School Career Orientation: Beyond Job Selection to Self-Positioning Career guidance is a three-year journey that begins in Grade 10, not Grade 12. By building comprehensive portfolios and engaging in multi-industry experiences, students learn to identify their strengths and transform passions into competitive advantages on the global stage.

Strategic Analysis: Diversifying the "Ticket" to Higher Education The seminar features insights from prestigious educational partners to help students navigate university admissions:

  • Top-tier Domestic Universities: Representatives from Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) will discuss portfolio-building strategies and preparation for competency assessment exams to gain an edge in admissions at Vietnam’s leading institutions.

  • International Degrees & "Study Abroad at Home": Experts from the British University Vietnam (BUV) will share opportunities for direct admission and scholarships using IELTS scores (6.5 - 7.5+) combined with experiential projects, offering a UK-standard education within Vietnam.

  • Study Abroad in China: The CCN Union (representing 37 leading Chinese universities) will provide guidance on pursuing high-level education in China, focusing on HSK 5-6 proficiency and exclusive foundation programs to unlock international career opportunities.
