Undefeated in competition: Duong Gia Phu sweeps 7 gold medals in a single academic year

Outperforming thousands of contestants from countries and territories worldwide, Duong Gia Phu (Class 6G1, Greenfield School Ecopark Campus) has achieved a Gold Medal in Computer Science at the Global Round of the FISO Online Olympiad. This impressive win follows his previous Gold Medal achievements in both the National and International rounds of the competition.
The FISO Online Olympiad is a prestigious international academic arena bringing together exceptional students globally. Conducted entirely in English, the competition evaluates specialized knowledge, logical reasoning, and comprehensive abilities across Mathematics, English, Art, Information Technology, and IQ.
"I have competed in many contests, but FISO gave me a very unique feeling," Gia Phu shared after securing his latest win. "This was my first time competing abroad. I didn't just strive for national pride, but also learned invaluable lessons from international peers."
Gia Phu developed a passion for numbers, calculations, and technology early on. Recognizing his potential, teachers mentored him to participate in various domestic and international competitions. His parents have also been instrumental, providing advanced study materials and encouraging him to join academic forums to learn and mature through every challenge.
His academic strengths extend beyond Computer Science. During the 2025–2026 academic year alone, he claimed six other Gold Medals across Mathematics, Science, and Vietnamese language competitions.
When discussing his future ambitions, Gia Phu shared his dream of becoming a software developer, adding that his role models are the pioneering scientists who invented the computer.
